Banana Pudding

Happy New Year!  What better way to start the new year by not going on a diet right?  This banana pudding is delicious and somewhat healthy.  It has bananas and fat-free and low-fat ingredients...haha.   Banana pudding is so much easier to make than I thought it would be.  Instead of the usual vanilla wafers, I used maria cookies.  I had a post about maria nutella cookies before and I just love these cookies.  This would be a great dessert to share with friends and family at your next party.  Enjoy!

Banana Pudding

Ingredients
1 package of maria cookies
3 to 4 bananas, sliced
1 package (5 ounce) of instant vanilla pudding
3 cups cold milk (I used low-fat.)
1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed (I used fat-free.)

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together milk and instant vanilla pudding until set.

Stir in whipped topping to combine with pudding.

Layer maria cookies in a loaf pan or 8x8 inch baking dish in a single layer.

Top with a single layer of sliced bananas.

Top with 1/3 of the pudding mixture.

Next, add another layer of maria cookies, top with sliced bananas and 1/3 of the pudding mixture.

Repeat until final layer are the maria cookies on top.

Serves 8 to 10.
